Shafiya utilizes several energy-therapy modalities in each healing session. The two essential  components are Reiki and EFT.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is the "laying on of hands" for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is an ancient healing technque that uses the "Universal Life Force Energy" or "God-directed Energy" to heal. The practitioner become a conduit for the channeling of this healing energy.   Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. Sessions are usually done on a massage table with the client fully clothes except for shoes.   EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a gentle tapping procedure which clears the body's energy meridians. It was orginally designed by and for the psychotherapy profession to clear emotional disturbances.
